I bought a pair of black pumps from Kenneth Cole online today.

Luckily I'd already made an allowance for that - seeing as my reliable pair of Nine West pumps are starting to show over a year's worth of wear, tear and daily concrete beatings on the heels... they've held up remarkably well, but the nicked heel just won't do for client meetings anymore.

Presentation is more than half this business.

I didn't go out and splurge on the pair of Louboutins I've had my eye on.... that won't be for a few years yet, at least. Or ever.

It's the new year Kenneth Cole clearance, and they were $85, down from $265... which really just teaches us to not buy this stuff @ full retail... I was lucky, they had a few left in my size.
