Even necessary stuff adds up so quickly. Just one textbook, one reader, and a pair of eyeglass frames have totaled to be $295 in the past two days.
I bought the frames because we're going on a field trip (yeah, I know, we're too old.) to an insurance company. We get free glasses & lenses, but I didn't want to count on the frame selection. To be honest, I've got a big head...and a lot of frames just don't fit. Or they look funny. I like these though, and I got them for about the wholesale price, so I'm okay with it. I also haven't gotten glasses in almost three years.
But oh man, why is it as soon as I decide to cut down on spending, things just seem to pop up? I would like a day when I don't have to stop for gas, go to the grocery store, pay a bill, where I might actually be able to NOT SPEND MONEY.
